Paul Ludwig Bergren

Paul L. Bergren of Mt. Pleasant, SC, peacefully died in his sleep on October 6, 2021 after a 30 year battle
with Parkinson's disease.
Paul was born on May 9, 1949, to G. Walter and Virginia (Trice) Bergren in Lafayette, IN. He fell for his high school sweetheart (Deborah Hufford Bergren) at Lafayette Jefferson High School and followed her to Purdue University. He received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a Master's degree in Industrial Management. They were married in 1971 and married nearly 50 years.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Deborah Hufford Bergren. He is survived by his two sons, Doug and Mark (Dawn), four grandchildren Kathryn, Jack, Makena, and Molly, his older brother Walter (Shug & Linda), and his niece Holly (Michael). Services will be held on November 6, 2021, at the Lake Toxaway United Methodist Church in Lake Toxaway, NC.
