Ramon Banes

Ramon Banes, 62, of Goose Creek, passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2016. Born in the Philippines, he was the son of the late Simeon and Lourdes Banes and husband to Cornelia Banes. Ramon received his Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering in the Philippines and worked as a Compounding Supervisor for CR Bard. He was a longtime member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and he enjoyed fishing and cooking with his family. He is survived by his wife, Cornelia Banes; son, Ranel Banes and his wife Nina of Goose Creek; sister, Leonisa Singletary and her husband Roscoe of Goose Creek; his siblings in the Philippines, Rosario Banes, Marina Garzon and Eduardo Banes. Ramon is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family. He is predeceased by his parents, eldest brother, Anecito Banes and eldest sister, Josefina Abuniawan. Mass of Christian Burial will be held, Monday, October 17, 2016 at 11:00 am in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Goose Creek.
