Raymond Glyn Dwyer

Raymond Glyn Dwyer, 53, of Ladson SC, passed away, Saturday, October 1, 2016. Born in West Hempstead, NY to the late Robert and Joan Dwyer. Ray moved to the Charleston area a decade ago and started Ivory Tiger Tattoo in Summerville, SC. His shop was revolutionary, as he opened it at the inception of legalization of tattooing in South Carolina. Survivors include his wife of 13 years, Erin Dwyer; his children, Robert and Sage Dwyer; and his sister, Dorene Pearson and her husband Richard of Georgia. The family will receive friends, Thursday, October 6, 2016 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, Goose Creek Chapel.
