Roger Eugene Spriggs

Roger E. Spriggs, 64, of Goose Creek, died January 31, 2015. Born in Charleston SC, he was the son of Howard and Julie Spriggs and husband to Cynthia Nell Rosier Spriggs. He was the owner and operator of Roger’s Automotive. Roger loved working on cars, fishing, reading and helping all who were in need. Roger is survived by his wife, Cynthia Spriggs; three daughters, Elizabeth Brigham and husband Anthony of Hallsboro, NC, Tracie Rabon and boyfriend Derek Loveland of Summerville and Jenny Spriggs of Greenville; son, Rodney Spriggs and wife Nancy of Summerville; two step sons, Pete Wallace and girlfriend Melanie Hofmann of Goose Creek and Michael Wallace of Goose Creek; four brothers, Sammy Spriggs, Danny Spriggs, David Spriggs , Darryl Spriggs, and Stanley Spriggs; sister, Sandy McKnight; step mother, Herlene Spriggs of Johns Island. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held Thursday, February 5, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. in MCALISTER-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, GOOSE CREEK CHAPEL. Burial will follow in Carolina Memorial Gardens, North Charleston. The family will receive friends prior to service from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
