Rosa Ribeiro (Cerqueira Afonso)

Rosa Ribeiro, 81, of Charleston and wife of Manuel Ribeiro, passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2016. Rosa Ribeiro was born on April 1, 1935 in Tibo, Portugal. She was retired. In addition to her husband, survivors include her son, Manuel Fernando Ribeiro, Jr. of Newark, NJ and her daughter Maria Lewandowski and her husband Steven Lewandowski of James Island, SC; grandchildren, Robert, Tanya and Alyssa. She is also survived by her sister, Maria Cerqueira of North Arlington and Warren, NJ as well as her nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 5 St Teresa Dr., Charleston, SC 29407.
