Ryan D Crawford

Mr. Ryan D. Crawford, 31, of Charleston, and husband of Alanna Crawford, passed away Friday, December 16, 2016. Born on March, 20, 1985 in Birmingham, AL, he was the son of Doug Crawford of Tulsa, OK and Mindy Crawford of James Island, SC. Ryan was a Drawbridge Tender on the Ben Sawyer Bridge. He loved anything heavy metal, enjoyed volunteering at Charles Towne Landing and was an awesome cook. He also loved his three cats, Bauchus, Hansi and Church. Ryan attended Awaken Church where he enjoyed hanging out with his small group friends and family. Besides his wife, Alanna and his parents, Doug and Mindy, Ryan is survived by one sister, Christina Crawford and niece Vayda, both of James Island. A Celebration of his Life will be held at 1pm Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at Awaken Church, 3870 Leeds Ave, North Charleston, SC 29405. The family will receive friends after the service at the church.
