Sedgwick Lewis Simons, 90, of Mount Pleasant , South Carolina died April 14, 2017.
He was preceded in death by his wife Caroline, and is survived by sons Sedgwick and William, their spouses Dana and Gabriela, grandchildren William, Caroline, Virginia, and Amy, and great grandchildren Ryan and William.
Sedgwick was a navy veteran and graduate of Sewanee University. He loved family, Lowcountry living, animals, and education. His career included high school teacher, principal, and administrator for Charleston County schools.
The Celebration of Life Service will be April 19, 2017 at 2:00PM at Christ Church (Episcopal), 2304 Highway 17 North, Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, 29466.
A burial will follow at Christ Church Cemetery, Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to East Cooper Meals on Wheels or Tara Hall.
