Sharon Perry Griffin

Sharon Perry Griffin, age 67, of Goose Creek died Monday, November 17, 2014. She was born January 19, 1947, in Memphis, TN to the late Thomas and Betty Perry. She was a graduate of Churchland High School in Portsmouth, VA and a Masters degree in Psychology from University of Miami. She was a retired business owner, proud mother, and grandmother. Sharon is survived by her children; Patricia Williams-Hazel and husband Wayne, Teresa Smith and husband Mike, Jennifer Kitcey and husband Matthew Strange, Tara Harshaw and Chris Wilkinson; her beloved grandchildren, Justina Pilkonis, Madison Smith, Bobby Kitcey, Cosmo Kitcey, and Deven Harshaw; brothers, Thomas and Jack Perry of Portsmouth, VA; best friend of 40 years, Marge Muncher of Goose Creek. She is also survived by many extend family members and many friends from her long interesting and never boring life. She has requested that all of us who loved her not to grieve, but instead have a party, because she’s is happy that this struggle is now over. The family will be having private services.
