Shirley W. Yazell

Shirley W. Yazell, 73, of Summerville, passed away December 23, 2016. Born in Sandersville, GA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Walden and Inez Fox and wife to the late Raymond Yazell. Shirley was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved working in her yard and took pride in its appearance. She is survived by her children, Brenda Flynn and husband Walter of Summerville and Barbara Howard and husband Holland of Eutawville; grandchildren, Brooke Braun, Holland Howard IV, Joshua Flynn and Raven Flynn; great grandchildren, Adelyn, Aubrey and Madison; sister, Elaine Langley of Grovetown, GA. Shirley was predeceased by her parents, husband, grandson, Jarrod Howard and brother, Lanier Walden. The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 27, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. in MCALISTER-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, GOOSE CREEK CHAPEL. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Plantation Memorial Gardens, Moncks Corner.
