Simone Claire Rogers

Simone Claire Rogers, 85, of Moncks Corner, died November 8, 2015. Born in Manchester, NH to the late Lionel and Eva Rousseau. She and her husband were roller-skating champions and also enjoyed round and square dancing. Simone worked as a cashier for several retail establishments and also spent time working at the Habitat for Humanity Restore. She was a member of St. Phillip Benizi Catholic Church. Simone is survived by her son Ronald Martineau and wife Janet of Moncks Corner; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and siblings, Connie, Bobby, Dickey, and Beatrice. Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her husband Roland; and siblings, Arthur and Laurie. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at 11:00 am in McAlister-Smith Funeral Home Goose Creek Chapel. Burial will follow in Plantation Memorial Gardens, Moncks Corner. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am – 11:00 am at the funeral home.
