Stephen Reyes

Stephen Reyes, 46 of Charleston, SC passed away on November 3, 2015 at his home surrounded by his loving wife and children. The funeral Mass will be held at Nativity Catholic Church, 1061 Folly Rd., Charleston, SC 29412 at 11AM on Wednesday, November 11, 2015. Stephen was born in Saginaw, MI. He is survived by his soul mate and wife, Kellie Sams Reyes and his children and step-children, Gregory Alvino Reyes, Mary Catherine Clarke, Ryan Gregory Clarke, Robert Rollin Clarke, and Cory Pitt. He is also survived by his mother Josephine Peters, and many relatives from the families of Reyes, Saldana and Sams. He is predeceased by his loving father and biggest champion Alvino Reyes, his uncle Fiberto Reyes, his grandmothers Maria Felon Reyes and Tomasa Saldana, grandfathers Francisco Reyes and Albert Saldana, his cousin Stephen Kowalewski, and his aunt Millie Green. Stephen fought cancer for 2 ½ years. Throughout his battle he was courageous and continued to be a loving father and husband. The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to Amidisys Hospice, the Hollings Cancer Center, and their family and friends for all of the care, love and support they have shown Stephen. Also in thanksgiving for the prayers from the faith communities of Nativity Catholic Church St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, Corpus Christi and St. Faustina.
