Theresa Margaret Kelly, 76 of Moncks Corner, South Carolina, passed away on Thursday, March 20, 2014. Theresa was born on Friday, March 18, 1938 in Newfoundland, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Sandy McIsaac and the late Susie Benoit McIsaac. She loved gardening, quilting, knitting, making homemade bread and 'Frecko' soup and repairing anything that was broken. Theresa was a believer in Jesus Christ, whom she called her helper. Theresa is survived by daughters, Romona Fisher and her husband, Mike of Goose Creek, SC, Lesa Thomas and husband Stephen of Fort Mill, SC.; sons, Ernie Kelly of Moncks Corner, SC, Billy Kelly and wife Kathy of Tacoma, WA, Jimmy Kelly and wife Julie of Moncks Corner, SC; sisters, Pauline Roberts of Quakertown, PA, Linda McIsaac of Toronto, Ontario; brothers, Joe McIsaac and wife, Dodie of Toronto, Ontario, Karl McIsaac and wife, Mildred of Piccadilly, Newfoundland; sister-in-law, Barbara and Joan McIsaac, both of Piccadilly Newfoundland; 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sandy and Susie McIsaac, as well as several brothers and sisters. The family will receive friends Monday, March 24,2014 from 1-2PM at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, Goose Creek Chapel, 869 St. James Ave. A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, March 24, 2014 at 2PM in the chapel of the funeral home with Final Prayers to follow at Plantation Memorial Gardens. The family would like to give special thanks to the wonderful caregivers at Odyssey Hospice and to Mom’s “angel on earth”, Mary Jo Ellis-Villanueva.
