Trudy Grace Saye, 93, of Charleston, entered into eternal rest on April 30, 2021, surrounded by her family.
Born on October 8,1927 in Mullins, SC. Trudy was a daughter of the late Joseph Purdee Floyd and Emma Mae (Rowell) Floyd.
Trudy loved going fishing with her husband and sunbathing at Folly beach. She was a mother figure to all her grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She is survived by her sons Joseph Michael Saye (Gail) of Johnston, SC and James Timothy Saye of Charleston, SC a daughter Wanda Saye Brunson of Charleston; 9 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter; brother Barry Floyd (Nancy) of Eastover, SC.
Trudy is predeceased by her parents and daughter Jane Olivia Saye, sisters Anna Hodges, Gladys F. Suggs and Evelyn Floyd McKeel, brothers Alvie Floyd, J.D. Floyd, Julius Floyd, J.P. Floyd and Waldo Floyd.
The family will receive friends on Monday, May 3, 2021 from 1:00pm-2:00pm with the funeral service to follow at 2:00pm at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home - James Island, 347 Folly Road, Charleston, SC 29412.

Burial will be held at 4:00pm Monday, May 3, 2021 at Christ St. Paul Church Cemetery, 4981 State Road S-10-1160, Yonges Island, SC 29449.
