Veronica Patricia Fath (Zgrabik)

Mrs. Veronica Zgrabik Fath, 84, widow of the late Thomas E. Fath, of Charleston, passed away October 18, 2015. Mrs. Fath was born on February 4, 1931 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Joseph and Cecilia Zgrabik. She was a true example of a servant of God to all who knew her. Survivors include her children, Thomas Fath (Kathryn) of Cross, SC, William Fath (Jerrie) of Bath, NC and Mary F. Kinney (William) of Charlotte, NC; 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; her sister, Rosemary Goebel of Houston, TX and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Fath was preceded in death by her daughter Gail Sanderlin. The family will receive friends from 10:30 – 11:30 AM on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, James Island Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12 Noon, Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at Nativity Catholic Church, 1061 Folly Rd, Charleston, SC 29412. Rite of Committal will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 601 Ft. Johnson Road, Charleston, SC.
