Wanda Proveaux Snyder

Wanda Proveaux Snyder, 63, of Goose Creek, passed away March 17, 2016. Born in Bamberg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Floyd A. and Daisy Dodd Proveaux and wife to Jeffrey Snyder. Wanda was a devoted member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, previously serving as President of the Ladies Guild. She was a civil service employee for over 30 years, most recently working at SPAWAR. Survivors include her husband of almost 31 years, Jeffrey Snyder; son, Jason (Carrie) Key of Ladson; daughter Kelly (Tobie) Stegall of Summerville; siblings, Lily Blume of Bamberg, Gail (Gary) Curtis of Summerville, Winston Proveaux of Summerville; eight grandchildren, Vivian Able, Morgan Key, Cody Stegall, Joseph Stegall, Adrianna Key, Kaitlin Stegall, Layla Key, and Daisy Stegall; one great grandson, Michael Melton, Jr.; her extra special neighbor, Sheila Gardner; and a special thanks to the Physicians and staff at CHOA, the nurses on 5 South at Roper Hospital, and the staff at Southern Care Hospice. Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her brother-in-law, Charles Blume. A visitation will be held Monday, March 21, 2016 at 10:00 am, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. A funeral mass will immediately follow.
