Wayne Robert Nickelson, (57) of Charleston, SC husband to Yvonne Nickelson for over 27 years, entered into eternal rest on January 5, 2022. He was blessed to be surrounded by his family.
Born on February 10, 1964 in Manistee, Michigan, Wayne was the son of the late Harold Nickelson and Barbara Janowiak/Kowalski. Little did he know his soulmate was born today in Holland, Michigan.
Wayne was a machinist, welder, & fabricator for over 25 years. He was a lover of God, a jack of all trades, & master of none. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, but had a special passion for the year he spent with Yvonne in their motorhome travelling the Country making special memories together. Wayne had a great love for metal detecting and playing Poker. He put a smile on any ones face that he met and had a special presence in this world.
Besides his wife, Yvonne, Wayne is survived by a son Alex Nickelson, two daughters, Katie Reaume, and Jessie Nickelson. His brothers: Chuck Nickelson, Craig Nickelson, & Gary Nickelson. His Sisters: Leanne Courtney & Janelle Cole. His Grandchildren: Lexi Carnell and Kaleb Reaume. As well as many nieces and nephews and many friends who will forever be his family.
