Winifred Lou Mellard

Winifred Lou Mellard, 76, of Ladson, passed away, January 30, 2015. She was born November 30, 1938, in Cartersville, GA to the late James and Edna Baker. Winifred was raised in Harleyville and met her husband Robert Mellard. She is survived by her children, James (Cindy) Mellard of Moncks Corner, Mike (Anita) Mellard of Richmond VA, Susan (Bob) Baker of Ladson, and Sandy (Mark) Sill of Jacksonville, FL; her siblings, Waylon Baker, Frank Baker, Ronnie Baker, Donnie Baker, Christine Hutto, and Wilma Page; grandchildren, Brian Mellard, James Mellard II, Allyson Harrison, Nicholas Mellard, Amanda Wall, Alex Harris, and Christina Brown; and six great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held Monday, February 2, 2015 at 3:00 pm in McAlister-Smith Funeral Home Goose Creek Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home at 2:00 pm.
