Albert Raymond Kline

Albert Raymond Kline, 70, of Charleston, South Carolina, passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2025.

Born on December 17, 1954, in Charleston, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Valeria Frank (Singletary) and John Kline.

Ray was a very patient, loving husband and family man with a gentle soul. He enjoyed boating and fishing, just not in the harbor. He was a gun enthusiast and liked recreational shooting. Ray was an avid history buff and enjoyed historical research, especially local history. He had a close personal relationship with God and spoke to him often. Before starting his day, he sat down and read his Bible. 

Albert is preceded in death by his parents, John Kline and Valeria Frank; brothers, John Kline and Gerald Kline.

Albert is survived by his wife, Deborah Kline; daughters, Brooke Cruanes and Amanda Tanner; sister, Alice Cooper; granddaughters, Marie Cruanes and Aibhlinn Tanner; and grandson, Ryan Cruanes.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, 347 Folly Road, Charleston, SC 29412.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, 347 Folly Road, Charleston, SC 29412.
