Barbara Ellen Singer

Barbara Ellen Singer, 70, of Charleston, South Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, October 3, 2023.

Born on November 25, 1952, in Henrietta, TX. Barb was a daughter of the late Bill and Bobby Swafford.

She was an avid dog lover and was at one time the President of the Charleston Jack Russell Terrier Society.

Barb is preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Bobby Swafford, and her brother Steve Swafford.

She is survived by a daughter, Trish Delancy, a son, Les Delancy, a grandson, Dylan Simmons, a granddaughter Mary Ellen Delancy, and two great-grand children, Bentley and Kathrine.

A Celebration of Life Gathering for Barbara will be held at a later date on Folly Beach.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pet Helpers of Charleston.
