Beatrice Catherine Love

Beatrice Catherine Love, 87 of Isle of Palms, SC, passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2025.

Born on November 18, 1937, in New York, NY, Beatrice was a daughter of the late Beatrice Catherine Rae and John Patrick Rae.

Beatrice is preceded in death by her parents, John Patrick Rae and Beatrice Catherine (McDermott) Rae; son, Dana Williams Love, III, son, John R. Love, son-in-law, Raymond K. Anderson, and grandson, Brian B. Anderson.

Beatrice is survived by her husband of 63 years, Dana Wiliams Love, Jr.; daughter, Catherine L. Anderson; daughters-in-law, Denise K. Love and Gina H. Love; grandchildren, John Love (Bailey), Claire Waldren (Jacob), Michael Love (Morgan), and Riley Anderson; also numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 20, 2025, from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at McAlister-Smith Funeral & Cremation - Mount Pleasant, 1520 Rifle Range Road, Mount Pleasant, SC 29464.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, July 21, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church, 1204 Middle Street, Sullivans Island, SC 29482. The burial will follow at 12:00 PM at Riverview Memorial Park Cemetery, 3715 Azalea Drive, North Charleston, SC 29305.
