Benjamin Franklin (Frank) Bloomingburg, 82 of Mt Pleasant, SC, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, September 1,2021.
He grew up on Sullivan's Island and graduated from his beloved Citadel in 1961.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Sherrell (Sherry) Hoppmann Bloomingburg of Mt Pleasant, SC ; three children; Cynthia B Peeples (Boyd) of Mt Pleasant, SC, Richard R Bloomingburg (Karyn) of Mt Pleasant, SC and Robert Scott Bloomingburg (Kerry) of Charlotte, NC; five dearly loved grandchildren - JB, James, Conner, Patrick, and Ryan; and sister Judy (Paul) Hollen.
His Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, September 6, 2021 at 11 AM at Stella Maris Catholic Church, 1204 Middle St, Sullivan's Island, SC 29482.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Frank`s memory may be sent to EWTN - Eternal Word Television Network, Global Catholic Network (www.ewtn.com) or Stella Maris Catholic Church.
