Berly Piedad Zapata

Mrs Berly Piedad Zapata, 48 of Ladson, South Carolina, passed away on Monday, June 12, 2023 after fighting cancer for two years. Berly was surrounded by family when she left this world to be with her Lord and Savior.

Born on January 6, 1975 in Honduras, CA, she was a Daughter of Carminda and Gustavo.

Berly was a church planter for more than 20 years with her husband Jerry.  She loved discipling the children's ministry and was very close to all the children who brought her so much joy. She was very dedicated to her church and family.  She was a true worshiper of Jesus Christ.  She was the best baker!  Her pound cake was more than delicious!  

Berly is survived by her husband of 25 years, Jerry Zapata and her daughter Gabriella Zapata of Summerville, SC. 

The family will receive friends on Friday, Friday, the 16th of June, 2023, from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM at Gracia-Grace Ministries at Northwood, 2200 Greenridge Rd in N Charleston, South Carolina. 

The service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, June 16, 2023 at Gracia-Grace Ministries at Northwood, 2200 Greenridge Rd in N Charleston, South Carolina. 

The burial will be held at Dorchester Memorial Gardens immediately following the service.  

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grace Children's Ministries, 2200 Greenridge Rd, N Charleston, SC
