Bill Bevan Miehe, 77, of Johns Island, South Carolina, passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2025.

Born on January 22, 1948, in Anamosa, IA, Bill was the son of the late Carmen Ingwersen Miehe and the late Raymond Glenn Miehe. A native of Iowa, Bill relocated with his family to Charleston, SC, in 1990. He was a proud family man and veteran, having served in the Army Reserves in the 1970s.

Bill was an avid outdoorsman who spent his free time hunting and fishing. He loved sharing his knowledge and skills with his family and friends. Respect for nature and the importance of conservation is a legacy he passed on to those around him. Bill was a hard worker and dedicated team member at Davis and Floyd in Charleston for over two decades.

In addition to his parents, Carmen and Ray Miehe, Bill is preceded in death by his brother, Ben Miehe.

Bill is survived by his wife, Phyllis Miehe; son, Eric Miehe (Vickie); daughters: Angela Kirch (Perry), Jill Currin (Andy) and Amber Christoff (Broderick); grandchildren: Madeline Kirch, Elsa Kirch, Jake Miehe and Ryder Currin; and brother, Bruce Miehe.

Rather than a formal funeral service, the family will be keeping with Bill’s wishes and gathering privately to share memories, laughter, and stories of his life.
