Bradley Patrick Allgire

Bradley Patrick Allgire, 49, of Charleston, SC, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 27, 2024.

Born on July 17, 1974, in Camden, NJ, he was the son of Carol Mangold Allgire and the late William Allgire.

As soon as Brad walked into a room, he instantly put a smile on everyone's face. He truly was the “Life of the Party!”

At the early age of 18, he started as a volunteer firefighter with the Oaklyn Fire Department alongside his brother and father for several years.  He then joined the Collingswood Fire Department.  He ended his volunteer journey with the Somerdale Fire Department where he once served as an Assistant Fire Chief.  While volunteering he was a paid EMT with Barrington and Pennsauken EMS.  He made the move to South Carolina in 2011 where he achieved his lifelong goal of becoming a career firefighter with the City of Goose Creek.

He was very proud of Paige, his baby girl.  He was her biggest fan and always the loudest in the crowd at her dance and cheer competitions.  He was a dad to all of her friends, and you better not call him Mr. Brad; it's just Brad. He definitely was the fun dad.

When he was not at work you could find him with a fishing pole in one hand and a cold one in the other.  He loved anything involving “BS” also known as Beers and Sunshine.  And after moving to the Lowcountry his permanent golden tan proved just that as he spent countless hours on the open water aboard his boat the Off Duty.

If you knew Brad you had a friend forever.

Bradley is preceded in death by his father, William Allgire.

Bradley is survived by his daughter, Paige Allgire of Bluffton, SC; his mother, Carol Allgire and brother, William Allgire of Palm Coast, FL.

A celebration of Brad's life will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024, from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM at his favorite place, LG's By The Creek, 1005 Tanner Ford Boulevard, Hanahan, SC 29410.
