Cedric Jackson, a devoted husband, loving father, cherished son, and Master Sergeant of the United States Air Force passed away June 2025 at the age of 50. Cedric was born in Atlanta, Georgia in 1975.Cedric lived a life defined by warmth, integrity, and a deep commitment to both his family and his country. Cedric was a family-first man whose greatest joy was spending time with those he loved.His legacy of love and guidance lives on through his surviving family: his beloved wife, Kendra Jackson; his cherished children: Kenderick, Tierra, Cedric Jr, Liberty, and Trey. Cedric is also survived by his grandson, Azure, whom he loved and adored greatly. Cedric is survived by his mother, Angela; as well as several uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. Cedric is also survived by his close friends: Owen Wrice, Godfrey Moore, Brandon Cox, Robert Rose, George Mebane, and Troy Tolbert whom he affectionately called his "brothers".Cedric is preceded in death by his father, Willie Walker and his maternal grandmother, Edith Jackson.

In May 2001, Cedric answered the call to serve by enlisting in the United States Air Force. Over a distinguished career spanning more than two decades, he traveled the world, deploying in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom, Inherent Resolve, and Unified Response. A natural leader and educator, Cedric excelled in mentorship and personnel care. He ultimately served as the First Sergeant for the 628th Logistics Readiness Squadron at Joint Base Charleston, South Carolina, where he focused on the well-being and professional growth of hundreds of Airmen, Sailors, and Civilians. He was highly respected throughout his service, earning prestigious honors including multiple First Sergeant of the year awards.Alongside his military duties, Cedric was an avid believer in lifelong learning, completing his bachelor's degree in organizational management and a Master of Science in Project Management. More recently Cedric completed a skill bridge opportunity with Robbins Construction and was offered a position as a Project Engineer.

To those who knew him, Cedric will be remembered not just for his achievements, but for his generous spirit, steady guidance, and the quiet strength he brought to his family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to The Pink Project SC. In honor of our Vice President, Cedric D. Jackson Sr. Legacy, donations will support the organization's newest initiative dedicated to educating individuals and communities on the lifesaving importance of CPR, First Aid, and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training and awareness.
