Christopher Murray Smith

Christopher Murray Smith of Irmo, born July 16, 1979, passed away on January 30, 2026.

Chris was a loving son, brother, and father who brought warmth and laughter to those around him. His son was his entire world and he treasured his time with him. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and spending time on the river. He was stubborn and strong willed and lived life on his own terms but loved whole heartedly. Though he will be deeply missed, his love and memories will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.

He is survived by his son, Emery Martin; his father, Buist Smith; his mother, Loretta Smith; his sister, Shanna Webster and her husband, Brenton Webster; his nephew, Hunter Webster; and his nieces, Payton Sharpe and Julianna Webster.

Chris will be cremated, and a memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. Until then, his family will hold his memory close, cherishing the time they were blessed to share with him.
