Claude "Bubba" Carlisle Brown, Jr.

Born on January 26, 1954, Bubba was the son of the late Claude C. Brown, Sr. and Helen Stoudenmire Brown. Bubba was a long-time resident of Charleston, SC until transferring to M.C.A.S. Cherry Pointe. 

He lived in Havelock, NC where he was blessed to purchase a home next door to his life-long friend Mike Green and his wife Renee. He was also blessed in a devoted relationship with his partner Kathie Holt for the past five years.

In addition to his parents, Bubba is preceded in death by his sister, Claudia Cureton and her husband Michael.

He is survived by his sister, Martha Knight, and his brother Tom Brown (Janie).

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 11:00am to 12:00 at McAlister-Smith Funeral and Cremation, 347 Folly Road, 29412.
