Cynthia A Grimm

Cynthia A. Grimm, 76, of Goose Creek, South Carolina, passed away on May 11, 2025. Born on December 26, 1948, in Framingham, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Ruth Arcudi Parmenter and Gilbert Parmenter.

Cindy's greatest pride was her family - her children and grandchildren. She unconditionally loved them and often shared stories and photos. She served three years in the Navy in finance before a 27-year career in civil service. An active member of Miles Road Baptist Church, she enjoyed volunteering at the Lowcountry Pregnancy Center, the veteran's home, and visiting friends.

Cindy started sewing to support herself, eventually opening her own business, "Cindy's Sewing Station". She and her husband took up bowling together and participated in leagues and tournaments. At home, she enjoyed reading, gardening, and playing board games. She rarely missed an episode of Jeopardy!, often outsmarting her family.

Cindy is survived by her husband of 42 years, Douglas Grimm; five children: Rusty (Amy) Williams, Wendy (JP) Totuszynski, Christopher Grimm, Cameron (Samantha) Grimm, and Sunni (Darren) Clark; and thirteen grandchildren: Caleb Williams, John (Lauren) Totuszynski, Andrew Williams, Anna Williams, David Williams, Braxton Grimm, Zoe Grimm, Memphis Grimm, Trevor Grimm, Imogen Grimm, Leighlynn Clark, and Judson Clark.

The family invites guests to wear Cindy's favorite color, blue, for the visitation on Friday, May 16, 2025, from 4:30 to 6:00 PM at Miles Road Baptist Church, 816 Miles Jamison Rd, Summerville, SC 29485, with a celebration of life service at 6:00 PM. Guests are encouraged to share memories on cards for a memory basket instead of signing a guest book.
