Debra Lynn
Walters
July 30, 1952 – April 2, 2026
Debra Lynn Walters, 73 of Moncks Corner, South Carolina, passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2026.
Born on July 30, 1952 in Moultrie, Georgia, Debra was a daughter of the late Marie Kierce Fussell and Charles Fussell.
"Debbie" was a retiree of Robert Bosch where she worked for 25 years. In her younger years, she used to love going on cruises with her family and friends. She took her last cruise in December 2022 with her daughter, grandson, and son-in-law. She loved music and dancing with anyone that would dance with her. After retiring, she and several longtime work friends formed a bowling league team, eagerly looking forward to their time together each week. Retirement didn't slow her down; she and Aunt Jeanette kept the roads hot, traveling between shopping trips and lunch dates. They were even known to slip away for a weekend in Myrtle Beach to try their luck on the casino boat. For as long as she was able, she never missed a chance to watch her grandson, Brock, play in a baseball, football, or basketball game. In the evenings, you could always catch her sitting under her carport, normally on the phone with her cousin, Chris, discussing whatever was "newsworthy" for the day.
Debra is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Danny Walters; and her brother, Charles Fussell.
Debra is survived by her daughter, Michele Sharp; and her grandson, Brock Sharp.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home in Goose Creek. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM.
