Delane Tindal Craft

Delane "Dena" Tindal Craft, of West Columbia, S.C. passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 26, 2026 at the age of 92. Dena was the daughter of the late T. R. and Eva Mae Tindal, the oldest of 6 children and graduated from Pelion High School. After high school she went to work for DHEC where she later retired. 

Dena is survived by her son, Murray Craft and daughter Jan Person; grandchildren, Heather McCants, Daniel Craft, Andrew Craft (Samantha), Josiah Craft (Emma), Joy Craft, Bethany Craft, Elijah Craft (Bella) and Mikiyah Craft; great-grandchildren, Kallie McCants and Korlie McCants; brothers, T.R. "Sonny" Tindal and Phil Tindal; sisters, Shirlene Adams and Dianne Lucas; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Bobby G. Tindal. 

She was a member of Northside Baptist Church for over 50 years and loved her "Forever Faithful Friends" Sunday School class. Some of the many things she enjoyed included bird watching, especially hummingbirds, and tending to her beautiful flowers. What she enjoyed most was cooking for all of her family and friends. When you came to Nana's house, you didn't leave hungry! 

Dena will be remembered for her kindness, her devotion to her family, and most of all, her love for God. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at Northside Baptist Church (4347 Sunset Blvd., Lexington, SC 29072) at 11:00 am on Tuesday, August 4, 2026. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am on Tuesday. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her memory to Northside Baptist Church or Northside Christian Academy.
