Donna Marie Mann

Donna "Birdie" Mann, 62, of Charleston, South Carolina, passed away on Friday, April 25, 2025.

Born on February 27, 1963, in Chesapeake, VA, Donna was the daughter of the late Mary Mason Speer and the late Lee Speer.

Donna was a pharmacy tech for many years. She enjoyed gardening and was a rabid Seahawks fan. She was also Den Mother to many songbirds.

Donna is preceded in death by her parents, Lee Speer and Mary Speer.

Donna is survived by her husband, David Mann; children: Sara Robertson, Brian Mann and Garrett Mann; two sisters; four brothers; and six grandchildren; along with hundreds of bluebirds, chickadees, wrens and two particularly troublesome mockingbirds.

The memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, on Friday, May 2, 2025, at Seacoast Church, West Ashley Campus, 2049 Savannah Hwy, in Charleston, SC.

A celebration of Donna's life will be held at the church immediately following the service.

Refreshments will be provided.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Audubon Society of SC OR the Glioblastoma Foundation.
