Doris "D. Ann" McDaniel Coffey

Doris McDaniel Coffey, 64, of Charleston, SC, known as Dee or D. Ann to family and friends, went to be with her Savior on June 3, 2023.

She was born on September 27, 1958 in Charleston, SC, the daughter of Emory and Doris McDaniel who have both preceded her in death.

She is survived by her loving husband, Mike, her sister, Emmie McDaniel, her son, Todd McIver, and stepson, Michael (Courtney) Coffey, granddaughters, Katie Goodwin and Lily Coffey, grandson, Tyler Coffey, her “second Mom,” Judy Rhode and honorary sister, Diane Abraham.

D. Ann was a supervisor for the City of Charleston Fire Department, which she loved, for 32 years.

The Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Holy Cross Cemetery, 604 Fort Johnson Road, Charleston, SC 29412.
