Doris Irene Robertshaw, 92, of Charleston, South Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2026. Born on November 13, 1933, in Manchester, NH, Doris was the daughter of the late Marian Glover Milliken and the late Roger Milliken. Doris grew up in Kittery, Maine, where she graduated from R.W. Trap Academy (1951).

Doris married her beloved sweetheart, Walter Robertshew, in 1955. Together they raised a family of one son and two daughter.

She worked at NSC- Charleston, where she retired in 1994. Doris was a member of St. Mark's United Methodist Church in West Ashley.

Doris was a family staple, as she always held family events at her house, and everyone looked forward to her family famous lasagna!

She will forever be missed by her survivors - her children, Steven, Robin and Kim (Tommy); grandchildren: Kimberly (Brandon), Savannah (Jordan) and Chad; great-grandchildren: Ember, Sabrina Brixxon, Rowan and Kason; brother, John Milliken of Kittery, ME; and her extended family from up north, where she enjoyed to visit and have her lobster roll.

Memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, as she was a loyal donor to that foundation.
