Dorothy Lynne Palmer, 64 of Goose Creek, South Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2023. Born on April 1, 1958 in Alexandria, VA. A daughter of the late Dorothy Smith (Frost) and Charles Smith. Dorothy was an entrepreneur with many successful business ventures. She loved interior design, being creative, and most importantly spending time with her grandkids.
 
Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents Charles Smith and Dorothy Smith, her siblings -Catherine Fernandez-O’Bannon, Carol Hill, and Steven O'Bannon . Dorothy is survived by her husband Henry Palmer, her children- Kelly Wood, Danielle Marshall, Courtney Barrett and Morgan Koutelas, her grandchildren - Jamie, Trevor, Yasmin, Jennifer, Emilei, Rosie, and Tristan as well as her siblings- David Smith, Sherry Farber, and Rob Smith.
 
A Graveside Service to remember and honor Dorothy's life will be held on Friday, January 27, 2023 at 11:00am at Holy Cross Cemetery, 604 Fort Johnson Road, Charleston, SC 29412.  
 
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St Judes at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
