Dwight L. Ely, 85, of Ladson, SC, passed away Monday, December 12, 2016. Born in Danbury, Connecticut to the late Arthur and Enna Ely. Dwight is survived by his wife Inez Ely of Ladson; daughter, Anita (Harold “Skip”) Petzolt of Ladson; sons, Timothy (Rosangela) Ely of Waterbury, CT and Jonathan Ely of Madison, CT; eight grandchildren, Flavio (Maria) Ely of Pensacola, FL, George (Amanda) Petzolt of Summerville, Charles Petzolt of Tulsa, OK, Levi, Alexio, Sabrina, Elaney, and Isaiah Ely; four great grandchildren, Lucas Ely, Hannah, Colin, and Ellie Petzolt. A graveside service will be held Saturday, December 17, 2016, 12:00 pm, at Plantation Memorial Gardens, Moncks Corner.
