Elba E. Nazario

Elba E. Nazario, 92 of Moncks Corner, South Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2025.

Born on November 6, 1932 in Lajas, Puerto Rico, Elba was a daughter of the late Fidelina Toro and Juan Espinosa.

Elba was a devoted wife and mother who supported her family with her many skills and talents. Elba loved Christ and dedicated much of her life to Iglesia Hispana Bautista, where she faithfully served as a founding member, treasurer, and secretary.

Her compassion and care for children were evident in all she did, as she demonstrated unwavering love and attention. She volunteered at Whitesville Elementary, Westview Elementary, and Westview Middle School, as well as within the church, where she lovingly nurtured the children of church families. Above all, Elba cherished her role as grandmother and great-grandmother. Her love, guidance, and influence will continue to be felt for generations to come.

Elba was predeceased by her "Honey", Virgilio Nazario.

She is survived by her sons, Carlos E. Nazario and Edgar R. Nazario, along with her grandchildren, Michael Nazario, Christine Miley, Alba Duvall, Sarah Pessoa, and Ashley Nazario-Toole. She also leaves behind her great-grandchildren, Tobias Miley, Rebekah Miley, Sofia Duvall, Isabel Toole, Jonathan Toole, Gabriel Pessoa, Noemí Pessoa, and Samuel Pessoa, as well as her great-great-grandson. They will all miss her deeply.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 25, 2025 from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM at McAlister-Smith Funeral and Cremation, 869 St. James Avenue, Goose Creek, SC 29445.

The burial will be held on Monday, September 29, 2025 at 11:00 am at Beaufort National Cemetery in Beaufort, 1601 Boundary Street, Beaufort, SC 29902.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dementia Society of America or a tree could be planted in her memory.
