Eugenia T Faucette

Eugenia T Faucette (Jean), 78 of Summerville, South Carolina, passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2022.

Born on May 2, 1944 in Brighton, MA she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Mary St George McDevitt.

Jean started as a medical records coder at Mass General Hospital in Boston and worked her way up to Director of medical records at Brandywine Hospital in Pennsylvania.  She was an active member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church where she was a eucharistic Minster and lector.  She was involved with the Del Webb Cane Bay community.   She enjoyed playing cards, Mahjong, visiting casinos, and spending time with her grandchildren.  

Jean is preceded in death by her husband Leo Faucette, sisters Lorraine Edwards and Catherine Brooks and brother Thomas McDevitt.

Jean is survived by her two daughters Trish Franceschina and husband Thomas of Chapin and Theresa Wohleber of Chapin; son Leo Faucette Jr and wife Kim of Wilmington DE; grandchildren Daniel, Brittany, Kayla, Gabrielle, and Jacob;  great granddaughter:  Lavinia

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, 9th of November, 2022, from  6:00 PM -  8:00 PM at McAlister-Smith Funeral & Cremation - Goose Creek, 869 St. James Avenue in Goose Creek, South Carolina. 

The service will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, November 10, 2022 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 510 Saint James Avenue in Goose Creek, South Carolina. The burial will be held at Fort Jackson National Cemetery in Columbia, South Carolina.
