Everette Brown

Everette Brown, 59, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2025.

Born on June 25, 1965, in Charleston, SC, was the son of Willisha Morgan Brown and the late Louis Brown.

Everette was employed by Jestine's Kitchen in downtown Charleston for many years. He was a good chef, a good dancer and he liked to make people smile.

He is survived by his daughter, Daniele Johnson; sister, Sheila Taylor (the late Alvin); brothers, James Rittenhouse Jr. (Ophelia) and Roderick Jose Brown (Carrie); sisters, Regina Brown (Brady Martin) and Evelyn Pierce; two grandchildren; adopted brother and sisters; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Friday, May 16, 2025, from 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant, SC. 

The funeral service will immediately follow at 4:00 PM at the funeral home.
