Faye Jarriel-Eassa

Faye Jarriel-Eassa, 90, passed away on April 28,2024.  "Absent from the body, present with the Lord", II Cor. 5:8.

Born on April 4, 1934 in Vidalia, GA, Faye was the daughter of the late Essie Morris and Walter Morris.  She was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother, and friend. She was generous with her love, an encourager, comforter, peace maker, prayer warrior, and a good example to those who knew her.

Faye graduated from Palm Beach High School and received an associate degree in Bible from Tennessee Temple University. After marrying the love of her life, Gary Jarriel, she used that degree over the years to teach Good News Clubs, Christian Women's Clubs, Sunday School classes, and personal counseling.  She had a beautiful soprano voice and used that voice in her local church, weddings, funerals, nursing homes, and best of all, in her own home.

Faye enjoyed sports, especially football.  She loved to bowl and tried her hand at tennis.  She attended every possible game her sons participated in and enjoyed working with the Post 12 Baseball Team introduced to her by her second husband, Jack Eassa.

Recently, Faye looked at a room full of her kids and grands and said, "If I never did anything else, this is my greatest accomplishment!".  She loved her family fiercely and was so very proud of each one of them.  She leaves behind a great legacy!

Faye is preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Omas Morris; her husband, Gary Jarriel; and her second husband, Jack Eassa.

Faye is survived by her daughter, Belinda Fox (Gerry); her sons, Greg Jarriel (Laura) and Timothy Jarriel (Sarah); her 10 grandchildren; and her 14 great-grandchildren.
