Frank Dieter Frohlich

Frank Dieter Frohlich, 83, of Charleston, SC, husband to Linda Frohlich of 58 years, entered into eternal rest on March 24, 2022.
Born on February 13, 1939 in Bayreuth, Germany, Frank was a son of the late Wilhelm Frohlich and Hedi Zink Frohlich Koch.
Graduating from University of Tennessee with an undergraduate degree and a PhD. From Vanderbilt University, Professor Frohlich worked for The Citadel until his retirement in June 1994.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Frohlich. His son Matthew Frohlich and daughter Elisabeth Heaton, grandson Zachary Pace and granddaughter Carson Frohlich. His sister Lyn and brother Mike.
A service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 9th, 2022 at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home West Ashley, with a reception to follow the service.
