Frank Schick, 94, of Mount Pleasant, SC, passed away peacefully at home on September 28, 2026, under hospice care and surrounded by his family.
Born July 24, 1932, in the Bronx, NY, Frank was the son of Fred and Isolde Schick. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and later attended electrical trade school. He enjoyed a 43-year career with New York Telephone Company (AT&T) before retiring.
A man of deep faith, Frank was an active member of All Saints Lutheran Church in Mount Pleasant, a Mason, a Shriner, and a volunteer with the Lake Gaston, Virginia State Police Department. He enjoyed gardening, reading, history, and caring for his beloved cats, Mama and Precious.
Frank is survived by his devoted wife of 70 years, Adriane Schick; daughter Janine McManus (Kevin); son Thomas Schick (Joan); grandchildren Lauren Choiniere, Jillian McManus, Morgan Schick, Tony Schick, Carson Schick, Brennan Schick; and great-grandson Jean Choiniere.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on October 9, 2026, 11am at The All Saints Lutheran Church in Mt Pleasant, SC. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to All Saints Lutheran Church, Mt. Pleasant, SC , Charleston SC Animal Society, or Shriners Children’s Hospital – Greenville, SC .
