Frederick William Mullen, Jr

Frederick (Fred) William Mullen Jr. passed away on February 22, 2024 in Lexington, SC. Born on January 15, 1953, in Camden, SC, Frederick was a devoted husband to his wife, Gwen Huckeriede.

Throughout his life, Fred found joy in the simple pleasures, particularly hummingbirds, wind chimes and nature which brought him immense peace and tranquility. He was an avid and competitive runner.  

Fred's memory will forever be cherished by his friends, family, and colleagues. He will be remembered for his kind heart, warm presence, and unwavering dedication to his loved ones. His legacy will live on in the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Fred is survived by his loving wife Gwen Huckeriede, his sister Meriam Crowson (Charles), his niece, nephews, and cousins. 

Fred will be cremated in a dignified ceremony befitting his service to his country as a veteran of the Army. A celebration of life will be held later in the Spring with his family and friends.
