Genevieve Moore Stroud

A graveside service for Genevieve Moore Stroud, 95, will be held at Celestial Memorial Gardens on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. The Reverend Gene Rowell will officiate.

Genevieve was born to Olin Benjamin Moore and Elizabeth Betty Owens Moore in Horry County on Valentine’s Day in 1931. She departed this earthly life on Wednesday, February 18, at Lexington Medical Center Extended Care.

Genevieve is survived by her children, Charles and Dolly Stroud; Carol and Dean Fuller; Wanda Young; Jackie Angonowicz; Brenda Stroud; and Richard and Wendy Stroud and 16 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, 4 great- great- grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Mrs. Stroud was predeceased by her husband of 34 years and 7 siblings.
