Gerald “Jerry” Peter McClelland, 89, of Summerville, South Carolina passed away at his home on Friday, November 24, 2023.
Jerry was born in Royal Oak, Michigan on October 16, 1934 to Alexander McClelland and Dorothy Baumgartner McClelland.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran and a Boy Scout Leader for many years. He enjoyed card games, woodworking, and playing bocce. He loved his family, friends, animals, and nature.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 66 years, Carol Lee Wilson McClelland and his sons, Robert McClelland (Christine) and Bryan McClelland (Lynn). He was a proud grandfather to Cassandra McClelland, Alexander McClelland, and Bradley McClelland.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Alan and Thomas.
A celebration of his life will be held in the Spring.
