Henry "Hank" Wolf

Henry Guenther Wolf, 87, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2026.

Henry was born on July 6, 1939 in Detroit, MI. He served in the Air Force for four years before meeting and marrying his wife of 63 years, Shirley, who was the love of his life. Henry received an associates degree in industrial engineering and worked in the automobile industry his entire career, the last 25 years with the Chrysler Corporation. Upon retirement in 2001, Henry moved to Mount Pleasant, SC where he and Shirley enjoyed boating, golfing, traveling the world and time with their family. He was active in the Coast Guard Auxiliary and a regular Sunday usher at Christ Our King Catholic Church. Henry was a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus and with the Knights since 1965. He will be remembered by his dry sense of humor and the twinkle in his eyes when he smiled. Henry was loved by many, enjoyed his fabulous life to the fullest, and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Henry is preceded in death by his parents, Henry Andrew Wolf and Karoline Ann (Muller) Wolf and sister, Marion Holsbeke.

Henry is survived by his wife, Shirley Ann (Butchko) Wolf; daughters, Rebecca Ufkes (Philip) and Julie Kabalka (Walter); son, Michael Wolf (Lisa); six grandchildren, Nicole (Bay), Jacob, Emma, Zakary, Owen, and Tucker; two great-granddaughters, Ada and Vera.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30am on Tuesday, August 18, 2026 at Christ our King Catholic Church, 1149 Russell Drive, Mount Pleasant, SC 29464. A light lunch and Celebration of Life will follow.
