James Leo Kelly, Jr.

James Leo Kelly Jr, 64, of Moncks Corner, SC entered into his eternal rest on February 25, 2022. Born April 30, 1957 in Columbus, OH, he was the son of James and Margaret Kelly. He was married for 48 years to his high school sweetheart, Julie Ann Kelly of Oneida, NY until his passing in 2022.



A hard working manufacturer, skilled carpenter, and knowledgeable auto mechanic, Jimmy and his wife enjoyed spending time as a family and loved being outdoors. They loved making memories with their family and their children, especially during unforgettable summer days spent at the beach. He was also very active in fire brigade during his 25+ year career at Dupont/DAK Americas and made many close friends throughout the journey of his career. He touched the hearts and lives of all who knew and worked with him.



He is survived by his wife, Julie Kelly of Moncks Corner, SC; father, James Kelly Sr of Moncks Corner SC; son, Dan Edic of Washington D.C.; daughter, Michelle Decena of Summerville, SC; son, Jimmy Kelly of Greenville, SC; daughter, Amy George of Summerville, SC; and ten grandchildren, Tyler Haroldson, Elijah Decena, Ana Decena, Royce Kelly, Olivia Decena, Cooper Kelly, Mason Buffalari, Tanner George, Makenna George and Anna Edic.



The service will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at McAlister-Smith in Goose Creek beginning at 11 am with visitation of family and friends, followed by a celebration of life service at 12 pm.
