Jayce passed away at the age of 17, leaving behind a community of family and friends who loved him deeply. He will be remembered for his big heart and his loyalty to those closest to him. Jayce loved his family and friends fiercely.

One of Jayce’s greatest passions was his truck, which was truly his pride and joy. He loved to “hit the digs,” embracing life with energy, laughter, and a sense of adventure that will never be forgotten. His smile lit up any room he entered and will always be remembered for his sense of humor.

Jayce was preceded in death by his grandpa, Rocky Murphy; his grandma, Sandy Murphy; and his “Nanny,” great-grandma Joanne Fritsche.

He is survived by his loving parents, Latisha Stiles and John Stiles; his siblings, Brenna, Caleb, and Emma; his aunts, Blake Johnson (Chris) and Stephanie Biller (Dan); his cousins, Nick, Coy, Brady, and Makenzie; his grandparents, Dave and Patti Stiles; and many other relatives and friends who will cherish his memory forever.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 12, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home - West Ashley, 2501 Bees Ferry Road, Charleston, SC 29414.

A Celebration of Life service to honor Jayce will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, April 13, 2026, at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home - West Ashley.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jayce’s honor to Help me create a world without Type 1 Diabetes.
