Jennifer Michelle Cooper, 51, of Hollywood, South Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2025.
Born on December 28, 1973, in Beaufort, SC, Jennifer was the daughter of Patricia Brady Jenkins and the late Ronald Jenkins.
Jennifer Michelle Cooper was the very best wife, momma, daughter, sister, aunt, friend, and so much more. Her love for Jesus shined through her like a ray of sunshine. She was blessed with a heart of gold and an infectious smile that never wavered. The true embodiment of perfection in a person is selflessness, positivity, honesty, sacrifice, and most of all love. Jennifer exemplified every single trait so beautifully. She truly was an angel on earth.
Jennifer was born a happy, healthy, beautiful baby on December 28, 1973. She wasn’t just a good daughter, she was a best friend. Her love for Jesus Christ was so passionate from the very beginning. She went to church with her family and sang her heart out to the lord. She enjoyed going to the river and spending time with her family. Jennifer was a great student. She had so many really good friends who adored her. Jennifer graduated from St.Andrews High School in 1992.
She taught so many people what real unconditional love is - it exuded from her like a bright light. It was impossible to miss. She was given the rare gift of marrying the love of her life in 1995. 30 years of marriage and 34 years of being together flew by for the both of them. Jennifer and Larry were attached at the hip from the very start. The beautiful couple made the best, most hardworking team; they ran their business together for 25 years. Their job enabled them to touch so many people's lives every day; Jennifer’s bubbly personality really made them stand out. Her cheerfulness was spread all across Charleston.
Larry and Jennifer were blessed with their baby boy, Larry Eugene Cooper, III, three years after being married. Two years later, they had their baby girl, Cameron Elizabeth Cooper. She cherished every single second with her children and showered them with everlasting love. Being a mother was Jennifer’s best gift; she didn’t hesitate to give her all every single day. She was a Supermom. She always went above and beyond to provide for her family, putting everything and everyone before herself.
Jennifer was a fantastic chef and baker. No one ever left Jennifer’s kitchen unsatisfied or hungry. She would work so hard to make every event held at home something extra spectacular. Her passion for making special meals influenced her daughter to join her. They perfected the chocolate chip cookie recipe together - the secret ingredient was LOVE.
Whenever the opportunity came up, Jennifer would never miss a fishing trip. She was an excellent fisherwoman. Her father taught her how to fish. He showed her you can use any sort of bait to catch a fish, even a booger will do the trick. And her husband carried on the same passion. One hot summer day, her family took a trip down the Stono River and Larry’s pole took a dive right out of the boat. Jennifer was determined to retrieve his pole, so she drug the anchor line across the river floor. It wasn’t until she said this is my last try, she pulled up the rope and there it was. Larry’s fishing rod still had a fish on the line, and she proudly handed it to him as we all cheered him on to catch his fish. From then on, that rod was deemed “lucky pole”.
Proverbs 3:3
"Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart". This verse encourages making love and faithfulness core to one's being, like a visible necklace and an internal inscription, to gain favor and a good name.
Jennifer is preceded in death by her father, Ronald Wayne Jenkins.
Jennifer will be greatly missed by her husband, Larry Cooper Jr.; son, Larry Cooper III; daughter, Cameron Cooper; mother, Patricia Jenkins; and brother, Ronnie Jenkins.
