Joan A. Jones, 92, of Charleston, South Carolina, passed away on Monday, December 15, 2025.

Born on September 18, 1933, in Charleston, SC, Joan was the daughter of the late Myrtle Beattie Daggett and the late John Daggett.

Joan was born and raised in Charleston, SC. She was a devoted wife and loving mother.

In addition to her parents, Joan is preceded in death by her late husband, Richard L Jones.

Joan is survived by her sons: Chuck Jones, John Jones and Richard Jones; grandchildren: Jennifer, Caitlyn Jones, Ashley Jones and Allison Jones; and great-grandchildren: Savannah, Lacy, Brody and Hal; as well as her best friend, Brenda Betterton.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday December 22, 2025, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1695 Raoul Wallenberg Blvd. in West Ashley. Burial will follow at Live Oak Memorial Gardens in Charleston, South Carolina.
