John Joseph Verrochi

John Joseph Verrochi, 29, of Charleston, SC passed away suddenly on Tuesday November 18, 2025.

Born on January 1, 1996 in Cape Cod, MA, he was the son of Joseph M. Verrochi (Rachael) and Mari Judge.

John grew up in Fayette County, GA. His passion was baseball and he played many years of elite travel baseball. He was an avid New England Sports fan. John enjoyed fishing and was the loving father of his two dogs Ranger and Junior. He enjoyed spending time with family, especially his niece and nephew Emma and Jack. He will be remembered for his contagious smile and quick wit.

John was a graduate of The University of Tennessee and a member of the Sigma Nu fraternity. He graduated with a degree in Supply Chain management. His career included operation management positions with UST Logistics and O.E. Durant Ship Chandlery.

John is survived by his father, Joseph M. Verrochi (Rachael); mother, Mari Judge; sister, Grace Verrochi; step brother, James Watkins; step sister, Leah Watkins; nephew, Jackson; and his two nieces, Emma and Evelyn.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 23, 2025 from 5-7 PM at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, 347 Folly Road Charleston, SC 29412. A Rosary Service will begin at 6:45pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 24, 2025 at 10 AM at Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist, 120 Broad St. Charleston, SC 29401. A burial will immediately follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 604 Fort Johnson Road Charleston, SC 29412.
